A chill summer in the hammock? Not for Nelly and alpaca Montserrat! The invisible ghost needs their help: he finally wants to be seen. It doesn’t help that Montserrat is the only one who’s able to hear him. Luckily, Dr. Frankenstein – the very expert for all things monsters – is Nelly’s great-great-great-grandpa. When Nelly sends him a letter, she actually receives an answer even though her relative has been dead and gone for a very long time. This can mean only one thing – total brain chaos!
As the great-great-great-granddaughter of Dr. Frankenstein, Nelly’s life is far from easy: Her family is somewhat shunned, she lives in a haunted castle in the middle of nowhere, and she loves inventions – her boring parents, who would like to leave the related drama surrounding her ancestor buried in the past, not so much. Things escalate when Nelly finds her favourite alpaca dead on its meadow – and intentionally-accidentally revives it. Woops. The undead, slightly altered alpaca lady won’t shut up, has no sense of tact whatsoever, and wreaks havoc everywhere she goes. Nelly’s parents would much prefer to get rid of her as quickly as possible, but they haven’t factored in the castle ghost …
