The little rabbits race each other around the lake. They hop over stones, avoid snail slime, jump around mud puddles, dash through straw stacks, and crawl through a pipe. One by one, though, the little rabbits have to quit the race for one reason or other and in the end, no one makes it to the finish line. But mama rabbit quickly consoles her little rabbits: it doesn’t matter if you end up winning, the journey is its own reward.
The little donkey Ida is a true artist. With her tail tuft, she paints the most beautiful patterns on the walls of the barn. When Ida can’t find any eggs at Easter, she goes looking for the Easter bunny – and is lucky enough to discover him! However, he’s in a big mess: His alarm clock didn’t ring so he hasn’t painted all the eggs yet! There’s no time to lose! Ida swings her tail and helps the Easter bunny to colour the remaining eggs. Easter is saved!
