Island rat Ebby and rabbit captain Flo live on neighbouring islands in the middle of the North Sea. They both love their homes very much; the only thing they are missing is a friend to share their little paradises with. When they discover each other across the water, they are overjoyed. Now they only have to figure out how to cross the sea to reach each other … Having managed just that, they come up with a plan to share their island love even further: A guesthouse with a seagull taxi shuttling between their islands. When their first visitors, a seal mum with her little pup, arrive, their quiet and steady island life is turned on its head.
