Young stallion Mori loves nothing more than racing the winds with his human friend Yul on the vast steppe of Mongolia. When Mori is shipped off to the war in North Vietnam, he only has one goal: to find his way back home, no matter the cost. Together with bird lady Chau, Mori embarks on the long and difficult journey. On their way, they encounter both animals and humans with their own agendas, have to overcome immense challenges, and face grave danger. Will Mori ever find his way back and see Yul again?
