Annette Langen

Annette Langen, born in 1967, spent many years as an editor curating the programme of a children’s book publishing house. She already wrote her first children’s books on the side of her editorial job. Since 1989, over a hundred of her books for children and young adults have been published. Her internationally acclaimed Letters from Felix have been translated into 30 languages, have won international awards, and were adapted for the screen. In 2000, she started working as a freelance author full-time. She is also passionate about voluntary work promoting reading for children: Annette Langen has been a reading ambassador for the Stiftung Lesen since 2011 and in 2012, she became the patron of Mentoring Coesfeld. She has two children and lives in the region Bergisches Land.
