Annette Amrhein lives with her husband and two children in Schleswig-Holstein, the province between the seas. When she’s not writing stories for the radio or novels for young and old, she spends time in her garden or goes for a walk in the forest looking for mushrooms. She hasn’t met a bear yet but many other animals, which also play a part in her picture books.
Sabine Straub, born in 1966 in Fürth, grew up in Hamburg and Düsseldorf. She studied at the German College for Graphics and Design in Athens, where she lives today as a freelance illustrator.
