Owl Elli and the Thing about the Moon (Volume 2)

A smart tale showing that some things are a matter of perspective sensitising for the importance of reflecting on one’s point of view.
Usually, owl Elli and bat Thea are in total agreement. One night, however, they pick a quarrel because they can’t decide whether the moon is shining from up above or down below. When neither is willing to relent, this might prove the end of their friendship. Will the other animals be able to help them smooth down their differences?

Author

Georg Vollmer, born in 1974, lives with his family in beautiful Franconia. The books he usually deals with professionally are about mathematic formulas and equations. To avoid monotony, he wrote Owl Elli Wishes for Friends, his first children’s book – only at night, of course, just like it should be for real owls.

Illustrator

Pina Gertenbach, born in Karlsruhe, studied communication design at the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim. She has been working as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer for publishers and agencies ever since. She lives and works in Berlin.
