Midsummer Christmas

A heart-warming story in twenty-four chapters – perfect for long December evenings in the run-up to Christmas.

Pina is a real-life Christmas present: Her birthday is on Christmas Eve. And this year she has invited her friends to a birthday party on the afternoon of 24th of December. But then the vicar decides to put on the Nativity play at the same time, and suddenly nothing is more appealing to Pina’s guests than playing a sheep. It’s no wonder, Pina thinks, that they’re all only thinking about the Nativity. With all the chocolate Father Christmases
and fairy lights, how are they supposed to get in the mood for cake and other birthday food? There’s only one thing for it: it will have to be summer – right now in the middle of winter...
