Ever since his parents died in a tornado, Finn and his best friend Billy have been working on developing Stormwitch, their very own early warning system, so that no one has to find themselves in Finn’s shoes in the future. However, their tests are constantly sabotaged by Colonel Remington, the ruthless self-appointed king of tornado hunters. When their classmate Sandra and the young camera assistant Laura, who is working on a documentary film about tornado hunters in Oklahoma, end up in mortal danger, Finn and Billy try everything in their power to help them.
