The Little Cowboy and the Big Catch

Delightful picture book with a surprise ending.
Ben dreams of becoming a real cowboy one day. But first, he has to master lasso-throwing and it’s just not working out. Only yesterday he lassoed the Sheriff ’s wife’s summer hat off her head and there was also a mishap with mama’s clean laundry... Luckily, before he can be punished, Aunt Nelly sends him off to bring the cowboys their lunch. They show him how to throw lassoes again. Very soon, Ben’s lasso-skills are being put to the test – and by none other than the feared bandit Red John!
