Creative People

Author

Patrick Maria Bienstein was born in the Sauerland in 1983. After stopovers in Dortmund and Cologne, he now lives with his partner in a self-built circus waggon in Flegessen in the Weserbergland. He works as a city planner and advocates for sustainability and climate protection. Most of all, he enjoys fooling around and writing stories for children.


Illustrator

Maja Bohn, born in Rostock, trained as a bookseller after abandoning a dance apprenticeship. Afterwards, she worked in publishing in Berlin for several years. In the middle of the 90s, she studied at the Weißensee Academy of Art. Since graduation, she has worked as a freelance illustrator and author of children’s and school books in Germany and abroad.,Maja Bohn, born in Rostock, completed a bookseller's apprenticeship after dropping out of dance training and then worked in publishing in Berlin for several years. In the mid-nineties, she began her studies at the Berlin Weißensee School of Art. Since graduating, she has worked as a freelance illustrator and author in the children's and school book sector for Germany and abroad
