Mafalda in the Middle – Two Gerbils on the Run (Volume 1)

Told by both the animals and the girls, this hilarious literal cat-and-mouse game provides great entertainment with lovable characters.
Mafalda couldn’t be more excited: She’s finally getting a pet! Well, sort of. Unfortunately, the two gerbils are only on loan to her annoying brother, but Mafalda manages to sweet-talk him into letting her and her best friend Selin look after them. However, Cosimo and Claus have plans of their own and dutifully staying in their cage is not part of them. In the blink of an eye, Mafalda and Selin have to come up with a way to search all the flats in the big tenement building – undercover, because no one can know the gerbils are on the loose! Will they find them in time or will tomcat Caligula, who is sniffing his next meal, find them first …?
