Gareth Ryans is an illustrator from Northern Ireland. Born in Downpatrick in 1977, he studied Fine and Applied Arts and Media Design in Belfast and Donegal. Over the years, he has lived in various European cities, including Istanbul and Helsinki. Currently, Gareth Ryans and his family live in Hamburg. In addition to his job as a children’s book illustrator and author, he also worked as an educator for several years.
