Anja Kiel actually wanted to become a ballerina or a cook. Luckily, that didn’t work out. Instead, she worked as a tour guide and a journalist after her studies of art history, philosophy, and cultural studies and then discovered her enthusiasm for writing for children. She lives with her family and two rabbits in the Ruhr area and loves the sea, yoga, bears, and of course books.
Sinja Regul, born in 1989 in Einbeck, completed her social pedagogy studies in 2016 and has been working as a kindergarten teacher in day-care centres since. Inspired by the children there, she became a freelance part-time illustrator in 2019. She especially enjoys creating cute and cosy worlds of little animals with lots of heart.
