The last thing Valerie expected when escaping to her brother in the English Lake District for a much needed change of scenery was to get involved with horses again. Not after the events that led her here in the first place. But the herd of half-wild ponies and their enigmatic owner Ben immediately draw her in even though her new friends warn her to stay away. Soon, the two start to bond over their attempts to protect the herd when the ponies are involved in a series of strange and dangerous events. Is there some truth to the legend of a ghost stallion and the rumours about a curse? To make matters worse, Ben’s father is set to sell the ponies in order to protect his son. Can Valerie and Ben stop him and figure out what’s going on before it’s too late?
